Koch Methanol St. James – St. James High School
- Awarded to a 2023 St. James High School graduate
- Must meet criteria as noted below
Koch Methanol St. James – St. James Parish student
- Awarded to a 2023 graduate from any high school in St. James Parish
- Must meet criteria as noted below
Koch Methanol St. James – Adult Learner
- Awarded to a resident of St. James Parish with preference given to residents of the west bank
- Must meet criteria as noted below
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- May be currently enrolled at RPCC
Award Period: Academic Year 2023-2024
Award Amount: Up to $6,000/student
$3,000/academic year to be awarded 50% fall semester with remaining 50% awarded in spring should student remain eligible. Award may extend past the tradition two years but will not exceed $6,000/student
Pro-rated: 100% for 12 or more credit hours/semester; 75% for 6-11 credit hours/semester
Student is not eligible if enrolled in fewer than 6 credit hours.
Majors: Student must be seeking an associate degree in the following:
- Process Technology
- Instrumentation and Electrical Technology
- Industrial Maintenance
Needs Based: Scholarships for newly graduated high school students will be awarded only to those who are Pell Grant eligible.
Residency: Awardee must be a resident of St. James Parish – zip codes listed below:
- West Bank: 70086, 70090
- East Bank: 70052, 70071, 70723, 70763, 70792
Special Notes:
- Award will be granted to student regardless of other funding sources with approval from the donor that any excess will be refunded to the student.
- Applicant must have completed their FAFSA for the 2022-2023 Academic Year with RPCC (code-037894) annotated as their school of record by June 1. https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
- Applicant must be enrolled in RPCC (any campus) for the 2022 Fall Semester at the time of application; award will be based on the enrolled/scheduled credit hours as of the application deadline. https://www.rpcc.edu/admissions/applying-for-admission/
- Applicant must complete the online RPCC Foundation Scholarship Application at https://rpcc.awardspring.com
- The application must be complete and signed (un-signed applications are not considered).
- Two reference letters should be provided. Reference letters should be requested during the completion of the scholarship application online; if the person providing the reference cannot upload their document, send letters to: RPCC Foundation, 925 W.
