Driver’s License Restoration Clinic to Offer Amnesty—Local Judges to Waive Fines and Penalties
St. James Parish, Louisiana – The Koch Second Annual Driver’s License Restoration Clinic, scheduled for March 12, 2025, will now include amnesty for eligible attendees. Judges from the 23rd Judicial District Court will be present to waive fines and penalties, as allowed by law, providing a unique opportunity for individuals to reinstate their driver’s licenses without financial barriers.
“This clinic is about restoring mobility, opportunity, and economic stability to those who have been impacted by license suspensions,” said Matt Ellis. “With the support of our local judiciary, we are ensuring that individuals have a real pathway to compliance and a fresh start.”
The clinic will take place at Koch Methanol from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to register here and bring any relevant documentation regarding their driver’s license status. Legal professionals and volunteers will also be on-site to provide guidance on the reinstatement process.
